HIV Awareness High in the Army – NAS
Head of Communications at the National AIDS Secretariat NAS has stated that awareness on the HIV/AIDS pandemic is very high among personnel of the Republic of Sierra Leone Armed Forces RSLAF.
Speaking at the opening of a football and drama competition organized by the RSLAF and the United States Embassy in commemoration of this year’s World AIDS Day, Abu Bakarr Koroma noted that the RSLAF is rated very high among their partners in the fight against the dreadful disease which is a great feat that portends that it would be difficult to see an HIV person working in the military in the next 20 years more so as the RSLAF has the best right based HIV/AIDS policy.
